We will be hosting our annual Accounting Technology Seminar starting in October 2015. This will be the 24th year that the seminar series has traveled across the country to bring you the latest in technology for accountants in public practice, bookkeepers and consultants.
You can look forward to an information-packed day learning the latest from Microsoft, Intuit Canada, Sage (makers of Sage 50), Adagio by Softrak and TaxCycle. Plus presentations from ClientTrack, FreshBooks, Dr Tax, Easypay, TelPay, TPS Software and Connected Accounting. And, of course, Alan’s Picks, which this year will feature Avalara, e-courier, and IPBC.
Here’s what a few of the 2015 attendees said:
“Very informative. Great seminar to keep up to date.” Richard Findlay, CPA, CGA
“Good day, lots of valuable information.” Vic Warkentin
“As a first time attendee I appreciated getting such a broad snapshot of the accounting software industry.” Susan Quesnel, CPA, CMA, CPB
The cost of the Accounting Technology one day seminar is forty nine dollars and ninety-five cents ($49.95) plus applicable taxes. It features an intensive series of presentations designed to keep you up to date on the latest technology for an accounting or consulting practice. Part of the day will focus on the technology you use in your office; the balance of the seminar will feature the accounting and tax software that you install and support for your clients. Each seminar attendee will receive a free two hour Excel webinar, which normally sells for $49.95, plus you get two more CPDs (non-verifiable) for a total of ten. A real bargain.
This year, we will be visiting Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Ottawa, Montreal, Moncton and Halifax. For dates and locations click on the Seminar Locations tab. Unless otherwise indicated, each seminar starts at 8:30 and ends at 5:00 pm. Doors open at 8:00am.
As an added bonus, each attendee will receive a complimentary subscription to Alan Salmon's "Office Tips" newsletter.
And once again, we will be holding our popular “Early Bird” draw. All registrations received by September 8th will be placed in a draw for an iPad.
